Default Help on Wednesday Nights!!!

Okay, here is our problem. There are only 2 wards in our building, but our ward has decided that it's just too crowded at the church on Wednesday night with both wards being there. So they have decided to move our Wednesday night activities to the leader's houses. The problem is, and it's just not me but everyone who has a ym/yw also has a younger sibling in either cub scouts or achievement girls, we are now driving all over kingdom come on Wednesday nights. The added split in the ym where the younger scouts (11-13) meet at our house, the older scouts meet at another house, and the boys who don't want to do scouts (?!) meet at yet another the first 2 weeks of the month put an additional strain on the commute. I currently have 4 children-2 ym, 1 yw and a cub scout-who have to go 4 different places every week. We don't have anyone close enough to use to share rides with.
At first, we were told that this was because they were trying to save gas for everyone. Then we were told that it was because the leaders just found it too disruptive at the church. Last week I drove around dropping off and picking up my kids for 2 1/2 hours with all but one of my kids with me because the leadership changed where the yw were meeting and didn't bother to tell half of the girls, mine included.
Has anyone else ever had this kind of problem?! It has gotten to the point where my dh and I dread Wednesday nights. We are getting a new building in 2 years and that is when we are supposed to go back to having Wednesday nights at the church. I wouldn't be complaining if we were the only ones in the situation because of our family size (9 kids), but this effects EVERYBODY in the ym/yw program because they all have other kids in the other programs.
