Default Help with sleeping problem

OK folks, I have a problem I would like some input on.

Emma is not sleeping...day or night. Over the past 6 days I have been keeping track because I thought I was imagining things. She is only sleeping an average of 8 1/2 hours in a 24 hour period. When she does go to sleep it is for no more than an hour at a shot. For the most part she is content when she is awake but I have to admit it is wearing us down at night to be up with her for hours on end.

We have tried walking, rocking, warm bath, just laying her down, etc. She flips out if we put her in the bed when she does not want to sleep. I mean she cries hysterically. If we bring her into our bed she just wants to play. I thought last week she was just off because we were on vacation but we have been home since Friday afternoon and things are no different.

I'm really at a loss and open to any suggestions. Should I call the Ped?
