My boy is 10.5 months old now and has 5 1/2 teeth with more waiting to pop in. Here is his eating schedule:
Wake up: Bottle - 8oz (About 6am)
8am-ish - Cereal with Fruit mixed in, Puffs &/or Cheerios
10am-ish - Bottle- 8oz
Noon-ish - Cereal with Veges, Puffs &/or Cheerios
3-ish - Bottle 8 oz
5-ish - dinner. Sometimes jarred food, sometimes whatever we are eating...
7-ish bottle 8 oz before bed.
Lately, he has been uninterested in eating cereal, but loves (LOVES!) finger foods. I am worried that he isn't going to get some of the nutritional value of the cereal, if we eliminate it from his diet. (He does get a multi-vitamin). Should I start offering other things instead of the cereal for Breakfast and Lunch? Any ideas of what we can feed him for breakfast/Lunch? I don't want things to get too mundane. We feed him Waffles, Yogurt, Macaronis, meats, potatoes, etc. -- Mostly starches. I don't want to feed him waffles/pancakes everyday for breakfast. But not sure what else to do.
TIA!
Oh! He does chew his food. But sometimes gets excited and shovels too much in.
