Default here's a doozy for ya... long post

okay so I have an 11 month old son. I missed my entire pack of birth control last month (my doc wouldnt refill it--long story) so i just didn't BD or anything. I o'ed last month (i get the side pains when I O) and had my last AF on 6/30. I started my pack 4 days late this cycle and we BD a couple times before i started it and once during the first week I started it. (i guess we were being reckless, haha) I read that you have to wait like a week before BDing otherwise you might get pregnant. Anyway so i was supposed to O sometime in the past like four days, however I am not entirely sure since my cycles are all screwed up now. Anyway so I had a bit of spotting yesterday... it was brownish... and it stopped today. I read somewhere about ovulation spotting, however I have never experienced that before. Af isn't due for another two weeks, and I read that implantation bleeding doesnt occur until right around your AF or a couple days after you O. If I am unsure when I O'ed how can I tell if its implantation bleeding or ovulation bleeding??
Just to be safe I stopped taking my migraine medication... it can cause birth defects. Anyway so I just didn't know what was going on....
Anyone else have this happen??

actually once you miss a whole month of BC you are supposed to use a back up method for a month once you start the new pack

Id say keep up with being on the safe side

now when u say u started the pack 4 days late, do u mean you started it on a wed or Thurs instead of Sunday? this could throw off your whole cycle too...I would and make sure you use a back up method because if your not preg, then u might get preg easier!

nope, it's a week. a lot of doctors will tell you a month because it takes most women that long to get into the habit of taking them at the same time everyday. but if you took them every 24 hours on the dot for the first week, you're good to go.

however, i agree with using a backup method, your cycles are so screwy it's hard to really say.

yeah i started on thur instead of on sunday.
and i didn't take them exactly as i was supposed to, it was hard to get back in the habit after a month off. but i also didn't use backup during that first week, nor did i use back up during the four days that i was waiting for my rx to be filled.
so who knows.
i have been emotionally a wreck (crying at everything) and sore bbs... and nauseous. but who knows, it could very well be stress. I have no idea. But i am not taking any dangerous meds until i know for sure which one be for another two weeks... but still I wanna know what the bleeding was.. it was spotting for one day. I have no idea whats going on, i have no idea when I o'd this month... I am just so confused.

I wish I could help you more...not too sure about cycles or anything, both my kids just kinda happened on their own They def sound like pregnancy symptoms, although i got those same symptoms when i started the pill again. Apparently pills trick your body into thinking its pregnant, causing symptoms for the first few weeks.

I can test maybe in a week and a half to two weeks. I dont know really since like i said my cycles are so weird. But I would estimate I could test in a couple weeks... *sigh* i dont want to get my hopes up... but I loved being pregnant and i love being a mother.
It would be a blessing no matter what
