Some of you might remember me. I have been here for over 2 years now. For those of you who do not here is the short version:

I went off Depo in Dec 2003 and began TTCing in Feb 2005. I have had many losses prior and after my son, who is 10 years old now. I ended up on Clomid due to the side effects and infertility Depo caused and m/c'ed 5 more times in the last 2 years. So here is the update.

I have been seeing the best RE in New England for the past 3 months. She did extensive tests on both DH and I to determine exactly what the issues are. I have PCOS (rare form) and MTHFR factor. After meeting with her on the 19th we were given the go ahead to TTC again on Clomid. So currently I am on 2000 mg Metformin (elevated DHEA and testosterone associated with PCOS and reduces m/c risk), 100 mg of Clomid (fixes LPD associated with PCOS), prenatals, 850 mcg Folic Acid (MTHFR factor), 250 mg B-6 (MTHFR factor), 250 mcg B-12 (MTHFR factor), 81 mg baby asprin (MTHFR factor), and 200 mg of Prometrium from 'o' till AF or 12 weeks to reduce m/c risk. I will also be getting the hCG trigger shot when my CBEFM turns peak and I get a pos OPK.

When I get PG I will have BhCG drawn every 3 days and u/s every week from 5 weeks to 12 weeks. This doc is very good and I feel confident that we will be PG very soon. After 3 rounds of this regime we will add IUI to it. We have found out our insurence pays for half so we are very fortunate.
