Default Homeschooling School-Phobic Kids

Hi everyone! Does anyone here have any experience with homeschooling school-phobic kids? I mean, are there any particular "do's" or "don't's" to be aware of when homeschooling a child with overwhelming school-related anxiety?

I've been looking for information about this but so far, all I've been able to find is a few sentences in one of the homeschooling books I bought:

School-Phobic Learners. These children say, "If it looks like school, I can't do it." Avoid textbooks for this group. Try alternatives like computer games, videos, and discussion.

I'll keep looking, but I wanted to see if you experienced homeschoolers here can point me to any resources you might know about for this specific type of child.

Thank you!
