Near us is a big hot air balloon festival, Lincoln, IL this weekend. We make an effort to try to go every year.

Last year my sis and I took our elderly parents to drive and see the balloons. The original idea was to go to a restaurant (air conditioned) and view them while we had lunch. Should have been easy.
Well, it was like taking the little ones w/ us. Mom wanted to stay in the car and chase the balloons as other cars were doing. OK. No problems. Dad could wait on lunch.....until we were 45 minutes away from any restaurants. And he wanted to eat 'right now!'
Just glad they could get out and enjoy the day.
My sis, Kris, is coming down from WI tomorrow to visit....we'll see about getting the mature generation to go with us.
