Really? like how?? did they stop doubling all together?
Does Vons still double?
Do you remember when Vons stopped doubling , I still remember , it was March 15 2006, then in May they had a few days of triples.
In January 2007 they brought it back, I still shudder when I think of those awful months they stopped doubling.

Ah yes I remember that tragic Vons decision......luckily it didn't last. And hopefully the Ralphs thing won't last, if it does it will spread to all the Ralphs stores. Basically they are doing what they call 'limited doubles', meaning that they'll only double up to 1.00 (not over) now. So while a .50 = 1.00, a .75 also = 1.00 and 1.00 only = 1.00 now.
I didn't shop there much to begin with, but now I'm boycotting them and have written to let them know (hopefully others will do the same so they are forced to change back like Vons was that once).
