how are all the pregnant ladies doing?
How are you guys feeling?? Anything going on??
I cant believe I am already almost 15 weeks! wow. Time is flying lately!!! I still don't know when my big ultrasound is, I wont know until the 13th. Hopefully it will be sometime around then... I am thinking probably the end of may-ish. Hopefully I wont have to wait until June! ugh.
I told my parents. They reacted more cruelly than they did with Mikael... suggesting (gasp) abortion or adoption. They said I cant be a good mom to two kids. i dont get why... lots of people have many kids and that does not make them a bad mom. So i dont get how i cant be a good mom to mikael and baby. Sorry that was a little vent
How are you guys!?

Sorry about the reaction from your folks. Def not what you expect when you want to share in your good news. As for how I'm feeling...compared to with Rilyn, I don't even feel pregnant other than being tired. With Rilyn I was sick all day until about this time. I occasionally feel a little nausea in the evening if I've waited too long to eat, but that is it. A little cramping right at the beginning, but I had that with Rilyn too. I guess I should count my blessings that morning sickness didn't hit me hard this time.

I guess I'm so so. My boobs are killing me and if I go more than 2hrs without eating I get the nausea from hell but other than that I'm great
We told our family the other day and I can say I know how you feel Brie. Of course Dh's family knows better than to say something like that to me but the point was pretty much made without the words. It went something like this....."Uh Nevy wants to tell the family something." Nevy-"Shhister" (her saying sister). Family-"Did she just say sister?" "Yep Nevy is going to be a big sister." (ackward silence) My SIL (not Dh's sister but BIL's wife)-"Oh uh Congrats". MIL- "So are we going to start the BBQ or what?"
No one else said congrats and the topic is being totally avoided. At the BBQ my MIL was being a B***H the whole time and giving me dirty looks which is normal so I ignore it but I was in shock at they way they acted. Everyone was soooo excited about us having Nevy and they knew we were going through FET. Whatever I'm sure they will get over it.
As for my family my mom was really happy and so was her family. My grandma was happy but is still worried that the time isnt right since we maybe re-building our house this summer but she did say congrats and acted happy.
My husband is excited and so is Nevy so thats all that matters to me

haha we got the same reaction.. well from my side anyway. DH's family (who i now have a strong communication with) all seem to be really excited. my MIL is really psyched.
you can't think about the negative reactions, which is why i'm leaving my family pretty much out of it. they'd rather i didn't have the baby, so i'd rather they have nothing to do with my family. period. (eta... by my family i mean dh, our kids & myself)
i really don't feel pg at all. no symptoms, which had me really worried. i just started to show last week @ 15 weeks & bubs is wasting no time catching up to his/her sister's size @ this time! with DD i showed immediately, but my belly size pretty much plateaued after 5 months until i became overdue. my next appt is thursday & i'm hoping we'll make the appt for the BIG ultrasound then.

Why is everyone so unsupportive, Brie?

honestly, i dont know, my parents werent supportive with mikael and they arent now. But its their loss, I can't waste my time being upset with it. Its just unfortunate that they can't keep their comments to themselves.
I dont know if it has to do with the fact that I am young or what. I have a good job, so does my boyfriend. yes we live in an apartment, but a lot of people do. I just dont get it.

I am so sorry that your own families are being so mean about your pg's. I can't believe it.
How could anyone be upset about a new addition????? It is so crazy to think that anyone would be that way......it is one thing for parents to not have a thrilled reaction to their 14 year old getting pg, but an adult daughter who is happy about her pg should be met with nothing but excitement!!!
I have made it very clear to everyone in my family that we plan to have 3 or 4 kids.....maybe even more. And being that I am very opinionated, I don't think that any of them would say anything to me. If they did I am afraid that I might disown them altogether. I tend to be a grouch when it comes to people ruining special moments!!
Hugs to all of you!!!!! I am glad the pg's are going well. Just ignore all the grumps!!!!

Enjoy your pg....it will go fast!!!! I can't believe how fast the second one went by...and now she is almost 4 months old already.....with a tooth already!!!!

Glad to see that there aren't any complications with anyone's pregnancy yet! (Except all the negative comments.) I know how you all feel. My mother in law wasn't happy about our #1. Father in law actually said, "Uh, did you like, miss a pill or something?" Lovely.
Jenn, I didn't realize that your family was unsupportive! That's unbelieveable, seeing as how much trouble you two have to go through just to get pregnant! How can they be unsupportive of that?
