Jaeclyn is just 5 days shy of hitting her 2 1/2 mark!! When I tell people shes only 2 1/2 their jaws hit the floor!! For starters, shes VERY tall! for 2, she never shuts up!!
Jae is 36 1/2 inches tall (grew an ENTIRE inch in a month!) And shes 28lbs...
She turned out to be exactly how we thought when she started showing her personality...shes TOO outgoing...will start a conversation with anyone!! We finally have gotten through to her that you cant pet every dog w/o asking (it was a real porblem before!) Now tho, if she wants to see someones baby, shes asks them first "Can I please see your baby?" Everyone thinks its so polite, I just think she gets confused
She has a full vocabulary, and talks very well. She only messes up on some pronouns and preposistions. Today, the door was closed tightly, and I asked her to go downstairs for something and she said "But Mommy, the door is too locked!" She is getting GREAT at pointing out letters, knonw what street and city she lives in, mommy, daddy, sister, and her own FULL name, and can almost spell her own (not write it, just spell it!) She can count to 42
after that i think she just gets bored...she only needs help w/ saying 20 and 30..once she gets to 21-19 shes knows what comes next...
She can count to 5 in spanish, knows every color including brown and gray! knows a triangle, square, diamond, heart star, circle (which she draws extremely well)
She LOVEs being outside! Thank goodness we have a playground walking distance from the house or sehe would drive me crazy!! She runs onto the playground saying "HIIIIII KIDS!!!!" and insists they are "her" kids
All of her friends are 4-6 yrs old. She wont really play with the "babies" as she calls them, which are the kids her age
Most dont talk AS WELL as her so i think she gets frustrated that they wont talk to her...i try explaing they are the same age but she just doesnt want to listen to mommy
Im excited about the beach this summer...last was tough w/ eating the sand, being afraid of the ocean etc...so this summer should be much better!! Im pretty sure we will get season passes to Sesame Place again this year!
