Unhappy How can I deal with my diet addiction?

I have been dieting for 15 years now and I can’t stop. I’ve tried every diet there is and, even though not even one has worked, I just can’t stop. I keep telling myself that one should work, so I try another and another. How can I stop? Please help!

Default Some people are addicted to chocolate and some to hot dogs.

Addictions are part of our life, you just have to know how to act when you’ve reached the bottom. The good thing is that you have acknowledged the fact it’s not doing you any good and you’re asking for help. These are the most important steps. What you need to understand is that diets are not supposed to take over your life. A diet is just a guide that helps you improve your well-being and teach you about healthy eating habits. Listen to your body and give it the supplies it needs in order to work properly.
Eating healthy is always an excellent diet. Add exercise to that and you will feel the results. Use portion control or count your calories, whichever method is more comfortable for you. You can find lots of useful articles about weight loss and good advice. You can also find there a menu planner that makes it easier for you to calculate, in calories, what you eat. This way you can keep track of what you eat, without having to follow a strict diet.

Default My advice is to stop trying diet after diet and stick to a healthy life style.
