My children have recently been more exposed to the idea of death and I am having a hard time finding the words to impart what I know in my heart.It started because of them seeing animals that had died, and the whole idea of death scared them. I explained to them that, because we believe in Jesus, our bodies may die here on earth but our souls will live forever. Try to explain what exactly a soul is to a 7-year old or 5-year old when you can't point it out or show it too them....LOL. I told them that it was the thing that made them them, but that seemed to be a pretty lacking description. They also wanted to know what we were going to look like in heaven since we won't have our earthly bodies anymore. Hmmmm.....Anyone out there with more eloquent descriptions?
