I have a small box of stuff that I use just for camping, and it gets kept in the utility cupboard when we won't be using it. I have two fold out 'hanger' things with camping toiletaries, and a bag of gear that's always packed and ready to go.
The only stuff that gets unpacked really is clothes and the first aid kit (since last time I tried to keep it packed, we always ended up forgetting to replace bits that got used.
Food gets made before we go, and put in tubs, and we gather sachets of condiments from pubs and restaurants throughout the year, and take them with us to save space.
