Hello! I am someone who has lived with arthritis for the past 9 years and who is also a researcher from the Health & Well-being Lab at the University of Windsor. I am looking for other people with arthritis to share how living with this disease has affected their life in a survey research study I am conducting. I am interested in how arthritis has affected how you view yourself and your life, for better or worse.

Which arthritis are you inquiring about? Osteo or Rhuemetoid? My father has bad Rhuemetoid Arth. And to top things off had a bad fall after hurricane Katrina. He fractured 2 vertebrae, broke his right arm and dislocated the shoulder on the same side and had to have surgery. He now has 2 metal rods in his back.... and lucky to be alive I think.
He has gone to Mexico to get an IV treatment that has been approved there, Canada, and many countries in Europe. With how things are with pharmacutical companies getting so powerful, they won't allow this treatment to get approved as it will really take away the need for the meds... which my dad can't take to begin with due to other conditions.
