I understand your frustration....my soon-2-b husband has two children with his ex-wife. We have been trying for about 3 months now and nothing. So it just makes me wondering if there is something wrong with me?!?! I have a Dr. appointment on Monday for the wonderful yearly physical...and I plan on asking her about different things. What kind of tests do they run to see if you can get pregnant or not? I have been pregnant before about 4 years ago....but miscarried that one.

It has taken me 8-10 months every time I wanted to become preggers. Which makes me fall into the 80-90% of women. I sure hopr it only takes 2-4 months the next go so I can have my kids spaced out throughout the year. And indoor plumbing would be wonderful.
Don't give up hope, though. All of us have one reason or another as to when we become pregnant. Becoming a mother will happen eventually. Besides don't you have step-children? That makes you a mother, as well. The more you relax and take your focus off of getting pregnant the more liekly it will happen. Stress causes all sorts of weird things to happen to your body.

Good Luck!

I know you have probably heard this many times, but it will happen when you least expect it. I have struggled with fertility issues since age 18, I have stage 3 endometriosis, PCOS, a tilted uterus and I had a tumor on my right ovary. I was told I could not concieve naturally and over 4 years I had 2 miscarriages.

Then something happened, I got divorced and started a relationship with my fiance. I think part of it was because I cared for him so much and part of it was because I really didn't think I could get pregnant. Well, 1 month into our bd relationship and I was pregnant. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I can totally sympathize with getting frustrated and wanting to be pregnant more than anything. Please don't give up hope!! Just try to relax and know that if you don't have any results after a year there are excellent doctors who can help your dreams of being a mommy come true!

I got preggy with Katlyn quickly, with in 3 months. After that it took 3 yrs, going all natural, I took b/c pills for about 3 months that was it. After Kelli I took them for about 2 months, and still it took us another 3 years. I am hoping it will not take 3 years after I have the IUD removed in a few months

With my son it took me 3 mos. The baby I miscd was first month. The baby I'm pregnant with took 6 mos. The month I got pregnant was the one where I did not use OPk'S or anything else except preseed.

Wow! I can't belive how many of you replied! It is amazing to hear from everyone..
My husband or I don't have any kids from previous relationships, and I just turned 24 and he is 29.. so we have plenty of time to become parents! It is just so funny that we spent our earlier lives thinking we could get pregnant on the first try and have the 2.5 kids... so naive we were! I am going to start to take it easy and just focus my life in a different direction (like sheading some extra weight!)... and I know our time will come

I guess I am a little late on posting here, but I wanted to add my story. Dh and I tried to concieve for 2 years on our own. Then on our first round of Clomid 50mg we succeeded! During the TTC period it seemed like forever, but know that we are due in 6 weeks, I feel like I got pregnant right off the bat!! A healthy pregnancy has a funny way of healing the scars left by all of the BFNs. good luck on your TTC journey!
