I have to admit ShoeScrapper that I'm one of the founding members of "Mothers Against Scrapbooking". HAHAHA With six kids and a full plate, I decided that I could either RAISE the kids or make books about them, but not both! I envy and admire people who have so much creativity that they can make every page unique, but I was born without that gene I think!
Our company works perfect for me, because I can make a page, and then hit "save" and not have to worry about picking things up, hiding all the cool scissors and pens from my kids (who think that anything that dispenses color of any kind is FREE game) and then laying it all out again. And if I was one of those moms lucky enough to have a "room" to craft in, I'd pad it with nice fluffy white foam, fill a cubbie with chocolate and lock myself in and just READ!!!
I've been told by die hard (die cut? punny...) scrappers that they love our 12x12 book option becaues they can literally make a full color, glossy pages, (archival too) COPY of their "real" scrapbooks and either keep it when the child leaves home or give the kid the COPY. (I find it amusing that after all those years of building something FOR YOUR CHILD...that you want to keep it yourself in the end!) So we have some fun options for traditional scrapbookers as well as a way for the "author" in me to make something more my style. Although I'll be thrown out of the Mother's Against Scrapbooking club if they find out I'm now addicted to digital scrapbooking and can use PhotoShop with my eyes closed...our little secret???
