Last night was, one of the
worst experiences of my life at a CVS.
So I already posted about the ECBs not printing... CS gave me the codes, and told me the employees would know how to enter them. Guess what? they didn't! The manger (it seems to me that they take turns being the manager--what's up with that?) refused to take them, saying she didn't know, and had no way of verifying whether they had already been used.
Unluckily for me, Customer Service was closed, and they are today as well, so I have to wait until Monday to get this resolved. But they expire tomorrow, so I am totally ticked off.
I admit I should have known that the Zantac deal was limit 2. I take blame for thinking it was 5. I had already bought 1, so when I bought 2 more and only got 1 ECB, I told the cashier (who I still think is great!) that I wanted to return one. She said we could just post-void the transaction, and no problem, just ring everything in again. The "manager" tried to post-void, and it wouldn't let her, so she said she could just return everything and cancel the transaction later. uh, no, I don't think so. I want this taken care of right now. So she said because I only paid 25¢, she could only give me 25¢ back. So I reminded her that I used ECB, so I should get a CVS money card with the amount. She said no, because ECB are coupons, and so I would only get 25¢.

I told her again that the ECB are like cash, and that if I return something that I bought with ECB, then I should get a money card for the value of the item. She flat out refused. After several more minutes of this, I finally told her I would be returning the items later. I got the names of everyone there (all 4 employees gathered around to watch the fracas), and left.
This is not the first time that this CVS has given me problems with using ECB, or returning something that I didn't want. But this is the closest CVS to me, the next closest is another 20 minutes (so 40 total) away.
thanks for reading my rant!
