How much are your kids talking now?
Ella is 17 months and she just isn't a big talker yet.

she has repeated a few other words, but doesn't say much on her own. Like with my older daughter I taught Ella some signs....

Its fun to see the excitement on her face when she remembers a new sign that I have shown her!
Kaleigh will be 16 months old on April 9th. She is starting to say 2 word sentences- well she says "bye daddy"
Her words are:

pretty (her favorite word- used to describe many many things! lol)

"Blue"- as in "Blue's Clues"

The only sign that I have really taught her was "more" and she does use it. She usally just points to what she wants.
Riley is almost 19 months old and he can put to words together like he'll say "hi baby" or "cookie please." He has a basic vocabulary of probably 20 words or so and then imitates a lot. He also knows a lot of animal sounds as well. He pretty much does the signs for "more" "please" and "thank you." I think it is pretty normal for them to have a basic vocabulary at this stage and by age 2 you'll see a huge increase in language skills. Sounds like Ella is on the right track!
