Lets track the ups and downs of gas in different locations. After driving from Pensacola to Tampa this weekend, I saw prices for regular ranging from $2.69 by me here on the Emerald Coast to a high of $3.05 in Lakeland. In Tampa it was around $2.89. This is for regular.
With the gouging that happened in Georgia, at a time when we were paying more than a dollar less than they were - when they could find it - I am convinced that pricing is just crazy and driven by psychology more than supply demand.
I looked on mapquest and it says that the lowest in the nation is $2.75 and the highest is $3.39 those are both for regular.
Its amazing how the can change the prices soo much! I did here that they will be going back up around Thanksgiving. Bad news for us since we'll be driving to Florida that week.
when i went to the grocery store the other day, that gas station was 2.65 (delaware). they're normally a few cents higher than most the gas stations, so i'll say about $2.60 for the rest of town.
