Default How Much Sleep Do You Get?

This is an interesting topic for almost any age....

How much sleep do you get?

Is it enough?

Is it too much?

Do you take a nap during the day?

Do you sleep more on the weekends or less?

on average 6 hours.
It works but I won't say it's enough!
I hardly ever get a nap (I feel I'm wasting time, even though that's dumb!)
I sleep later on Sat but get up to an alarm clock on Sunday.

for having a 12 week old i get about 7 hours of sleep...no nap during the day...i think its enough. Im never tired through out the day, just when darkness hits I get sleepy..

When DH is home we have a bad habit of staying in bed for TOO long...then Im tired all day...DD knows on weekends to crawl into out bed and watch cartoons

When I was a teen I went through stages...sometimes I'd sleep till noon on the week ends as My sis and I'd stay up watching late night CBC foreign films

It depends on the night, but best case scenario i get 6 hours. Kal still wakes up once or twice to eat (you would think at his size he could make it a few more hours, but no!). I go to bed around 11 and i have to get up at 6. I would go to bed earlier but its the only time the house is quiet and then i get my school work done.
NO its not enough, i am tired all the time...but as a mom you just get used to it. I keep telling myself, maybe in 3 years i can sleep, but now is just not my time to sleep!
And i never get a nap....the kids rest time is when i get laundry done, you gotta use all the hours in the day!

I sleep a solid 5 hours every night, then usually another hour or even two of not sound sleep.

How much SHOULD I get or how much DO I get? I should get about 12 hrs a day (I've always needed more sleep than the average person). I actually get about 5-6 interrupted hours of sleep a night (I have a 10 mth old and I'm pregnant and due in 10 weeks). I'm not sure if I'll ever sleep again!

Currently I feel like I get enough. My twins are still in the hospital so I wake up during the night to pump for them, but to equal it out I sleep later. Because I am off of work I get to do this, but unfortunately it is also very tempting to nap during the day. I try to keep myself busy because if I do get too comfy and nap then I get cranky.

Around 6 hours. Sometimes less if my husband has an early flight. He has to be up at 4am and I run him to airport at 5am. Ouch! It is bed time where I am just now and my dh is sound asleep,as he has to be up ...yes....at 4am. I may or may not sleep for a few hours as I am always afraid he will miss the alarm.I never sleep through the day as there is too much to do (I work from home supporting my husband in business) When I am meant to be doing emails etc I sometimes dip into this site, not good!I also do a lot of voluntary work with adults and children.I do sometimes feel tired at certain times of the month! doesn't everyone! and more sleep would be lovely.
