Default How to choose and apply for an online bank account?

In order to open an online banking account following are the steps that are required.

Step 1: Choose an Institution

Step 2: Visit the Website

Step 3: Select the Product You Want

Step 4: Supply necessary Information

Step 5: Accept the Terms

Step 6: Print, Sign, and Mail (If Applicable)

Step 7: Congratulate Yourself!

All banks will comment on how fast it is to apply for their online banking accounts claiming that all they require is 5 minutes of your time to fill in a simple application form when you apply for an online banking account.

Um. . .isn't that common sense? It's really not that complicated to follow the directions on the bank's website. I don't mean to be completely rude but you'll do far better promoting your site that's in your siggy by simply replying to messages that are in our forums rather than starting threads with useless information just to have something to post to get that link in there. This is on any bank's website. . .it's just not that complicated. With that said, please do check out some of our other forums and feel free to respond with actual interesting information. That, we love!

I think you missed two inportant points.

1b - Checking the reputation of the institution

2b - Checking the security in place on their online banking system

Two very important considerations if you intend to bank with anyone long term.
