Default link to write senators about marriage protection amendment

In our ward a letter was read from the First Presidency asking members to write to their state senators asking them to support the Marriage Protection Amendment which would state that marriage is defined as the union between a man and a woman. If every LDS person writes their senators that would be a powerful force to approve the amendment and preserve the American family. It is time for the majority to take a stand, because all it takes for evil to prevail is a for a good man to remain silent.

Here is a link to a site where you can easily email your senator, just find your senators name, click on it and it takes you to an e-mail form. http://www.conservativeusa.org/mega-cong.htm

Thank you so much for that link. Due to the fact that I am ususally in the hall with my overly active and overly tired 16 month old, I had not heard about this. I will make sure that I write to them. Thanks again!

I just wrote my letters. Our ward emailed each family the links as well. If the church is asking us to take a stand, it really is an important matter, especially since the church really does not get involved with politics.
