Welcome to the board!

Is this a new development? Or has it been going on a while?

Does he get time-outs at daycare for pushing?

Are the other children also pushing (a learned behavior)
or
do you think he is having some frustrations, so the pushing results?

Am certain some other friends will help too.

What are the consequences at daycare for his actions? Is he directing this toward certain children, or just in general?

There's a difference between bullying, and just being a restless kid who hasn't figured out where his arms end and everyone elses body begins.

I'd be asking questions of the day care if I was you, especially if he isn't like this at home, why is he doing it, is it as a response to a situation he deosn't feel in control of? As to how to deal with it, I'd follow the do unto others rule , he wouldn't like it , so why should they? even at his tender age that should get through to him, time out to calm down first would be good though , good luck and lots of luck from a mum with 4 boys : )
