How to tell my child her "daddy" is not her biological dad?
I have a 5 yr old who just started kindegarten,I had my daughter when i was in my pre-teen stage. although i recognize ive made many mistakes in the past she is not one of them. she is a blessing to me and i love her very much. luckily i found a guy who has been there since she was about 2yrs old.At this time she does reference back to times he wasnt around but never puts 2 and 2 together. her biological father is not in the picture and she calls her step dad "daddy". I dont know when or how to tell her.I dont want it to be too late and i dont want her to catch on in school..
Please help any advice at this time would be great.Thank you very much
