How's your weight after the holidays???
It''s been awful quite in the non-Beyonce portion of this forum. Sooo....is it because everyone is busy or b/c you fell off the wagon during the last 5 weeks???? Hmmm....
Well, a few weeks ago, after 3rd m/c FINALLY ended (7 weeks it took!!), I FINALLY made it to 70 lbs lost! Those last 5 lbs took months! So in one year I lost 72lbs--not bad considering 4-5 months of that year I was preggo or m/cing. Went from 344 to 272! I've still got a long way to go, but I'm so much better off than where I started last year. We were on vacation over Christmas. I was scared to be away from my routine and my scale for a week. I really missed the scale. I almost took it with me. I was able to walk most days we were gone. When we got back I was w/in 1lb of when I left. Not bad considering that we'd eaten at 4 buffets!!
Exercise is hard to get motivated for in the cold weather. When it is very cold or the roads are wet I can't go for a walk. Then there are the days when my sinus infection is so bad my is killing me and I don't want to do anything. I've been trying to do shows off of Fit TV, like Sharon Mann or Gilad. I think those shows helped spur the weight loss. But even low impact aerobics can be hard on my body since I do it on a concrete floor. I have a little padded yoga mat that I try to stay on, but it is so small. We will be buying a mat 4'x6' from the farm store that will hopefully help. I also hope that we will be buying a schwinn recumbent bike soon, for another option. We asked inlaws for one at christmas, but we got an Iphone instead??? Overall, I'm trying for exercising or walking 5 days a week. I know its down from my everyday walking, but it is realistic for winter time.
For Christmas, I got a partial face mask to keep my chinS warm when I walk in the cold. Funny, the only things that get cold are the chins. Gosh you'd think all the extra flab would insulate--haha!
Keep going everyone!
