Default Hysterectomy

I recently had a hysterectomy, with complete removal of ovaries and tubes, as well as a large ovarian tumor. Pathology shows no further need for chemo or anything like that - but I wondered what are normal ongoing experiences for women who have had this surgery?

I am still recovering from the surgery, but I have this weird feeling like my insides are shifting around. I don't really have pain, but abdominal discomfort comes and goes. It's like the rest of me isn't sure where the rest of me went!

BTW, for myself, (over 50) I really do not dispute the need for such radical surgery. For younger women, I am sure that they want to explore other options. Discussion anyone?
