I go Friday. My sis-in-law said the tech told her what was going on through the proceedure so she wouldn't have to wait for the results. I am hoping mine will do the same. Thanks for the info. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

I did get some answers. The Dr. said my cervix was scarred closed, but he opened it back up and my left tube had a slight blockage which he pushed through and cleared out. Both things hurt, but well worth it if I can get pregnant now! I am keeping my fingers crossed this will be the month. When do you get your results? I got to watch my test on the screen as the dye went through, did you? I hope that you get your answers!!! Let me know!

I am going Wednesday to get my Hysterosalpingogram and I am very nervous . My doctor gave me a Volume to take so I hope that helps the pain. I have been reading these post and it sounds like if you have any blockage it hurts worse but my question is, I have had a tubal pregnancy and lost half of my left tube so do you think it will hurt more because of that tube not being a working tube? Is that considered blocked?

Smile Recent HSG

Hi all, im new to this site. Ive been tryingto concieve for 2 and a half years now and have had lots of tests. I had an HSG test on Wednesday, i dont cope with pain at all but i have to say it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. It was a bit uncomfortable at one point throughout the examination (felt like a period pain cramp). But i had had no cramping after. I took 800mg of paracetomol half an hour before hand which i think helped. The Dr was great he told me what he was doing step by step. He also told me the results straight after as well which was good. Im now going back to the hospital in 2 weeks to discuss my options.
