As I was planning for the new year I spent a little time developing an I AM statement for myself. It is not new or out of the ordinary - it is simple.

I AM Grateful

I figured if I could be grateful in all things it would be of great value to me in all areas of my life. On any given day it could be something different. It could even be something that is hard in the moment to be grateful for.

Today I AM Grateful for the music of Daniel Kobialka. I feel like I am in a heavenly place when I am listening to his classical music and it uplifts and inspires me.

I am grateful that I have the most understanding boss in the world. With all the personal problems I've had in the past few years, few bosses would have been as understanding and willing to work with me to keep this job as she has been.

I am thankful for being able to nap 3 hours today! I think the noise of fireworks is fatiguing--I had to take a nap, and my brother and sister in law slept in--and that was just watching the fireworks presentation.

I'm grateful for a husband that works hard at a third shift job, and comes home and plays with his children. He is a hard worker, and a compasionate person, and the only man patient enough on this planet to put up with me!

The "Attitude Of Gratitude" is the best attitude we can adopt. By being grateful we see life differently and we enjoy more all the things we have.
I am grateful every day for all the things that I have, whether it's health or a car.
Every day when i wake up I practice this attitude of gratitude...it feels awsome. You should try it!
