My grandmother just WON'T accept this! My boys are super super close in age ((10 months 10 days apart)) so she just "considers" them twins! For their birthdays, she bought them identical toys, she sends them identical cards on holidays, and always buys them identical outfits! She came to visit us and got so mad that they were not dressed alike! She said "Ya know, more people would think they were twins if you EVER dressed them alike!"... I don't know how to stop this! I have told her SO many times, they are not twins, they are two separate people with separate birthdays ((because she buys both toys for both birthdays))... Even twins are two different people! She just doesn't get this! She got SO mad at me when I said that I very rarely, if ever, dress them alike! It seems like we are always having the same conversation, and she is always getting mad that I don't treat them like twins or act as if they were twins... The one time we were out together and someone asked if they were twins and she said yes!!!!!!! She is obsessed with it or something! How do I get her to back off a bit??
