I had the most Horrorable CVS Trip ever tonight
I went to CVS tonight to try and get some of the ECB deals well as always most things were not in stock
So I get a couple of Glucerna Strawberry 6pack Drinks shelf sticker said $1.22 and I had the $1.00 Heartbeat coupon
Then I get 3 bags of the Lollipop that are medicine for children shelf sticker said $2.00 I thought my ds would really like these and a cool way to get meds in him
I also got a few other things then I get to the clearence makeup. All the Covergirl makeup was marked $1.00 go I got 20 of them I had 10 $2.00 on any Covergirl product.
I go to check out the Glucerna rings up at $10.49 and the Lollipops at $4.99 so the manager go to check them and says OH no these are the wrong products OK then why are they in that spot??? Ok whatever just void them off.
So we finally get to the end of the order and now comes the coupons she gets all coupons rang up and gets to the covergirl coupons and says we can not take coupons on clearence items I said YES you can I have spoke to CS and you can well only if they ring up "sale" not if we have to put in taxable item "WRONG ANSWER" but she still wounldnt do it so I said fine void them off. So she voids the whole order and starts over by now my ds is going crazy and getting into everything so she gets everything rang up again and the manager had told her before on the "Cvergirl" products that if she just kept hitting taxable button it would just keep ringing in $1.00 until she had them all rang up.
Well the coupons that I used was for 1.00 and them items were .92 cents and .82 cents so when she was "TRYING to take off my coupons she was adding them and adding to my order. I stopped her and said you are adding to my order not taking it off she looked at me like I was stupid and I said look at the Register you are add them.
She had to VOID the order Again and start over by this time I was so mad I could have screamed so this is what she did she would ring up 1 item and Then take off 1 coupon and I stopped her because I was using a 3/15 and 4/20 and I told her if she continued to do this then I would not be able to use those so the manager finally told her not to take off the Contour coupons until she used my 3/15 and 4/20. After 45 minutes in line and a HUGE Headache I finally got out of the store.
I am writing CVS and want a formal letter stating the coupon policy so I can show the cashiers when I checkout from now on.
Sorry I jsut needed to vent. Thanks for listening.
