Unhappy I hate the heat! (rant)

Okay, apologies in advance, I'm going to whine for a minute... and all of you who live down South with the uber-high temps, I bow to you. I don't know how you do it.

The humidex here today makes it 28-30C (about 80-85F) and it's literally making me sick (and yes, I am a wuss when it comes to summer heat lol). I just got back from running a few quick errands, and while I was driving home I thought I'd have to pull over to get sick! I'm still having some nausea (and a lot of fatigue lol) but when it gets warm out, I just feel rotten -- don't want to move out the door. I've had a bit of a reprieve because the temps had dropped below 20C for a couple of weeks -- I'm a Fall person, happiest at 15C or lower lol -- but the last couple of days have been hot again (guess our Indian summer kicked in). So here I am hiding indoors, chugging back water, and just being generally irritable.

Sorry again for my little whining fit, but I just really wish Fall would get here and stay!

I'm from Houston, Texas and it's pushing 95 degrees here with 80%-90% humidity. I call it jungle weather. I am miserable too. I am usually tolerant of the heat, but since I am pregnant, I can't handle it well. A couple of days it was close to 100.... and I thought i was going to fry. I need to take care of my flower beds, but I can't get out there to do it or I'll pass out. Wish my hubby would do it!
We have air conditioning but we keep it at 78-79 simple because energy costs are outrageous here. So we use fans and I sleep in a tank top and undies.
Can't wait till fall!!!

I think I would croak.

I can't tolerate heat well on the best of days; the summer I was expecting DS, I was lucky to be working most of my days in a lovely air-conditioned building, and living in a wonderfully cool basement apartment. This time, I'm working at home, we're in a rental that doesn't even have a cool basement to go to, and air conditioning? ...what's that?

Think cool thoughts, and tell DH to bring you home some popsicles. Eek, I said it, now I'm going to have to get some!!!

I feel for you. Last weekend it was around 93* here but with the humidity it was well over 100*. No breeze at all. Fortunately it broke middle of this past week and has been much more bearable. But who knows what tomorrow will feel like.
