Default I lost 3 pounds this week!!!

I quit smoking april 2007 and started packing on the pounds to my already large body! September 2008 I decided I had to lose this weight. So with my DH's support, we joined a gym to only realize that our lives are really really busy...lol. So have been going spratically. We have changed our eating habits, cutting out the sugar and eating mostly chicken and turkey. (I don't like fish, yuk). I lost about 22 or 23 pounds that way.

Then in July 2008 we joined weight watchers online. I love the program! It is definately going to be our lifestyle from now on! We weigh and measure everything we eat at home and use the guidelines they supply us with for judging portins when eating out!
The thing I love about it, is I can have anything I want to eat. I just have to count the points for it. And that tends to make you look for lower point options so you don't use them all in one meal. lol.

As of today I have lost 22.4 pounds since joining weight watchers in July 2008 and 45.6 since September 2007! I still have a lot to go but I concentrate on 10 pounds at a time. I will reach my long term goal eventually!!

That's awesome. Congratulations!

I wish I had the discipline to do something like that.

I just work out a few times a week and "try" to watch we eat.

Default i lost 3 pounds too!!

hi there well done for losing 3 pounds . I am with slimming world and lost 3 pounds myself last week. I have lost 31 lbs in total since may 2008 and hope to lose another 100 pounds or so and like u i am going to do it in bite sizes like 7 - 12 lbs a time.

Well done lets motivate each other we can do it!! xxx

Right on. Focus on losing 10 lbs at a time, reward yourself for reaching that goal, then focus on the next 10 lbs. Good luck with your weight loss goals!
