Default I survived!

I survived my first swimsuit shopping experience postpregnancy!

It really wasn't that bad. I was surprised that I actually found something that I feel comfortable in. Scarlet starts swim lessons tomorrow, so I couldn't put off finding a suit any longer. I didn't want to show up in my old string bikini!

Has anyone else braved the department stores yet this season???

I bought myself a very nice and cheap roxy bikini before I had Lucas... I bout it in size 8 as before I found out I was PG thats what size I found fit me... Im hoping it will fit me by summer time, but i think I will still cover up a bit because I have NASTY stretch marks on my legs! I dont think I would have been so brave to go and buy one right now.. lol PLUS the one i did buy was 50% off at a store that was closing!!

how young could u start them in lessons anyway??

I haven't bought a swimsuit yet. I think the one I had the year before last will still fit. I only wore it twice...then last year I was preggers so I didn't wear it at all. I'm not happy about wearing it though...I want to go back to my 1-pack-a-day weight of 130.

eta: without the smoking addiction though. I don't need that.

Aiden started when he was 6mnths for lessons...BUT i had him swimming with us when he was a month old...he is a water baby and is learning to hold his breath underwater. He also kicks and doggy paddles...

Christina..I hated my 1st swimsuit experince....I went up 2 sizes and had a hard time finding anything that fit (in the boob department) It took me 2 hrs to find one thing I liked on me...I was so depressed. Now I don't even fit into the suit anymore...have to find a new one as i have lost some more baby wieght

I haven't braved the department stores yet! I still haven't lost all my baby weight! Well, I did right after he was born but my grandma just died two weeks ago tomorrow so it's all come back! Now that the weather is nicer though, I can get back out and exercise some more!
