Does she REALLY look that much older??????? I am SOOOO sick of people questioning me when I tell them that MY daughter is 2!

On vaca we went to a waterpark--2 and under get in free. We almost left because the lady didnt believe me that she was 2!!!! I was soooo angry.

And today at her photo shoot contest thing, all the parents kept questioning me about her age, thinking I was lying and putting her in a younger division so she would win

Its vert irritating and I cant help it if she looks older....her father is 6'2 so she is tall for sure. And the kid will talk your ear off like shes 13.....but she really is only 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hun i'm sorry so many people are giving you problems! she does look about 4 or 5 to me though (i used to work with 7-9 year olds, so i'm just shaving a few years off). i'm sure i'll have the same problem, people are asking me if izzy's 2, and she's not even a year.

i really dont care if people THINK shes older....its when they accuse me of lying to them! It just KILLS me!!


And its funny cause Izzy has no hair and neither did Jaecy...hers didnt start growing until after her 1st bday, and even now she hasnt had a haircut (other then bangs or a trim) yet!

If you do have the same issues good luck and hopefully you will be more patient then me!

Yeah, she looks two.

I had that problem with the oldest. He looked twice his age, and then when he opened his mouth he talked like someone older. However, it was clear that he was younger because of his behavior and stuff he said. Still, people often treated him like a dumb 4 year old instead of a smart 2 year old.

People are idiots! I already get that with McKenzie(they only add months though, not years). It must be a tall baby thing! Kenzie is a tall girl!

thanks....and Janet I know EXACTLY what you mean!!!!! A little 4 yr old girl was trying to play with her today and giving her the biggest attitude because she jsut didnt understand what she was playing haha


How tall is Kenzie now? I know she was always on the taller end as well :-\ I used to love it and now im not so sure


OK and Im PMSing like a mad woman too and every little thing is driving me crazy! Of course Jae had to start puking again tonight (all over Friday's Restraunt....almost in someone's lap!) just to top off my wonderful day haha

My neighbor's son is also in this same boat. He's 4 but looks to be about 6. I'm so used to seeing him that when I see other 4 year olds I think they are 2 or 3. His dad is 6'3". My son will also probably be like this. My DH is 6'1". And Robert is already busting out of most of his 3 month clothes.
People need to understand that not all children grow the same rate or are in the same percentile. I'd get mad too. I mean come on! No child is the same. Have a look at grade school class pictures! They are all different sizes! Some kids are tall, others are short.

Gabby's tall too but i haven't had that problem but we don't go out much... actually the other week i had the opposite problem, someone thought she was younger but that may have been because i was nursing her at the time
