Exclamation I Want To Sell My Kids!

OK, so I dont REALLY want to sell my kids, but sometimes a break would be nice!
All I here all day long in "MOMMY" and relentless crying and fighting! I feel Like a droid that just cleans, washes, changes bums... and the WORST part of being a mom...DISCIPLINING~hate it!

Sometimes I feel like im loosing it...like Im the worst mom and so selfish, rundown and frusterated...always feeling guilty about the the things I SHOULD be doing, RUH!

PLEASE tell me someone else feels this way and that Im normal and it will pass???

You know. . .I enjoy discplining. . .it's my opportunity to really share with my kids who I am and who I want them to become (in terms of their character that is.) I guess too I look at it as the most important part of the day.

But you're not abnormal (I didn't catch how old your kids are though) and it will pass! You'll trade this in for being the family chauffeur and/or mentor and it'll look different in a few years!

When my oldest 2 were young I had days like that. I think it's normal-especially if you're cooped up with them day after day without any outlet. They start getting on each others nerves, then they get on your nerves.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE spring and summer. You can always take the kids out to do something!!

Welcome to the board!

Every mom feels like the walls are closing in....from time to time.
Can you go to the store w/ the kids?
The park?
The library?
A local museum?
McD's for happy meals & playing on the toys?

Have you done anything just for you today?
Put on lipstick, fixed your hair, wear any fav jewelry?

Can you get a babysitter for a morning?
Or trade sitting services w/ a neighbor or friend?

Believe it or not, this phase will pass and suddenly they'll be in grade school.
You'll wonder how it all flew by so quickly.

(((Hugs)))

Mine are 8, 6, 4 and 2 yo twins. When the twins were born I had a 6yo, 4yo, 2yo and newborns twins and I think there were days I contemplated sending the 2yo wtih the gypsies! When they are little and you don't even have one that can button their coats. . .it's a tricky proposition. I totally understand!
