I was going potty....and wiped and there was a blood clot and brown stuff and white stuff too....so my mom flipped out and we went to the hospital.

They hooked me up to monitors and there were no contractions and baby was kicking lots and her heartbeat was good....they said my urine looked good and felt to see if the cerclage was there and it is.....Sooo they sent me home with orders to do the same thing I have been doing. It's a little frustrating BUT I am thankful to be home and thankful they didn't think it was that big of a deal.

They said it could have been a bit of my mucus plug or even a bit of my cervix itself...but we won't know cause I didn't think to save it.

i'm glad you & kianna are okay and there are no contractions! keep us posted! it does sound like it could've been your mucas plug though.. but don't let it worry you. A friend of mine lost hers at 20 weeks, but her doc wasn't concerned and she ended up having a perfectly healthy baby girl on her due date naturally.

Thanks...I keep expecting to see it happen again but so far nothing at all...as if it didn't even happen. I am freaked out but I am trying to be calm. I just wish I knew exactly when she was going to come I don't wanna tear stitches. They said that the stitches probably won't tear unless I am contracting so that's good. I've never had contractions on my own...so hopefully it'll wait till after they take out the stitches. The doctor (reg ob) has my dates wrong though and won't take out my cerclage till I am 38 weeks by my dates. I don't wanna wait longer...I've been on bedrest forever-ish 12 weeks and it'll be 13 this friday. I don't wanna add a extra week on there. I made 2 premie size diaper covers just incase she does come early or is just small...and I have 2 newborn size done and plan on making 4 more newborn size and have 3 of the next size made. I still have to order the prefolds to go in them though...anyway I hope she waits till I am ready.

it sounds like you will be having a baby soon. it does sound like it could be the mucus plug. Glad to hear everything is okay.
