We are still TTC, but we've been talking about names already. We like Asher as a boy first name, but need middle name ideas. I really want the name Adriana for a girl. I would prefer it for a first name, but if I find something that really flows I might consider it for a middle name. Last name is Vance.

1) Asher _________ Vance
2) Adriana _______ Vance

DD's name is Scarlet Analiese.

I like Grace as a middle name. I was going to use this as a first name till my sister named her daughter Gracie. Oh well. But Grace would be very elegant. Your name is Kim right? What about Kimberly? That is a pretty name... I agree proudmommy77!!

I was thinking about that, well kinda. My name is Maria Christina, but my parents never used my first name. I thought of doing Adriana Maria, but then thought that Scarlet might feel left out since I wanted to her to have her own name. We like Adriana Lucia, but I have a girl named Lucia at school. I think I've worked with so many kids and need to learn to separate names from kids I know.

I'm tricky! My name is Christina, but Kim Chee was a nickname I got in high school when I ate a lot of the Korean pickled cabbage. It tricks a lot of people on the forums though.

I was an education major in school and there was an e-mail that circulated that was something to the effect of "You know you've been teaching too long when . . ." and one was that you couldn't have kids because there wasn't a name out there that didn't remind you of a student. Your story reminded me of that

I am convinced this is why God gave us mostly girls. Every single boy name that I liked was taken by rotten students in dh's gym class: Aaron, William, Corey, Caleb. . .and the list goes on!
