Worse.
We thought at 4:45 am we were ok - not the first people in line but OK walmart is a big place. Not a soul on the road either.
Until we got in sight of the walmart.
There was a line to get into the parking lot, which was filling rapidly. There was a line to get into the store. There was a line to get into the line.
But it was pretty well under control. Security was everywhere and people were nice.
My friend found what she wanted, and we had a nice breakfast afterward. It was time well spent.
As for me, all my black Friday shopping was done online. I simply cannot think and deal with crowds at the same time. And I hate shopping anyway.
So I am thankful for good friends, and the nice people at Walmart and the local police and security who were doing a great job at a horrible hour.
