Tutoring might be a good choice. I'll have to look into it. I actually went to a tutor as a child.
We have cut out a lot of things since the economy isn't doing too good here in Houston. We are buying what we need as opposed to what we want. Robert's clothes have come from friends, who aren't planning to have any more children and resale shops. Goodwill has been a great source as well as NAM. I've even found some great clothes myself! What's sad is that a lot of my paycheck goes to Robert's babysitter. I sometimes wonder... why am I working?
We cloth diaper and I make Robert's food. It is cheaper in the long run. Nice to not have to buy diapers and having to throw them away.
I'm really hoping I'll be able to stay at home. I'd like to till my children are in school. Then I can go back to work.
My mother in law and I talked about it and she may need a secretary at their business for a few hours a week. I thought that would be nice... she could see Robert and I could earn some extra money.
I'll keep you all posted! Thanks for the advice!

I just wanted to add another thing... 'Freecycle'. It is an online local yahoo group - not sure if they have it in your area, but you could google it and check it out. the idea is - people will post something they no longer need (furniture, toys, clothing, housewares, etc.) and if you need it, you reply back. You can also post a "wanted" if there is something you are looking for. I got all my maternity clothes through Freecycle, and passed them on again through Freecycle. We got our current couch through Freecycle, and a lot of our baby stuff. It's great -and if there isn't one in the area, try to find out how to start one!!! It's a wonderful way to get rid of things you no longer use, instead of throwing stuff out!

This is a good advice for a passive approach. But wath's better than earning some money at least for your personal budget? Having your own money is very comfortable and make you more independent. The most difficult is to decide what to do. It is better to choose a domain connected to your education, knowledge and skills. Staying home you have no time to learn new things.

I'm enjoying much of my time working at home, It feels good to work while having my kids around. I'm just so blessed to find a home based job. I hope that I could be able to keep this career, As of now I'm trying my best to save from my earnings, planning ahead for my retirement days.
