Default IMMEDIATE ECB's PRINTING OUT NOW!!!

I don't know if this is good or bad, but my brother and I both got instant ecb's yesterday. (10th). It was kinda weird - he did the excedrine $20 get $20 - and bam - $20 ecb's just like that. I bought Aleve Liquigels - $1 ecb right there. This is in upstate NY.

Could you tell me where in upstate NY? I shop in Binghamton and didn't have this happen as of Friday. Thanks!

This is sounding more and more promising, as we keep hearing stories like this.

I wonder how this will work for those of us stuck in the 30 coupon limit?

What about the ECB we get when buying things that aren't listed in the ad? Like the Pantene trial size that work for the Pantene deal.....If you have a mgr or cashier that wants to be difficult.....could they keep them because we didn't buy exactly what was stated? Or things that say limit 1, but we know they're not?
Don't want to rain on our parade, but I wondered.

most of the cashiers at my stores have no idea what the deals or the limits are and I don't think most care. If the register is printing them out they are yours.

They dont know, nor do they care.

They might not even know its happenning

As for the Q on tiered products... same thing... you'd get the lower tier.. you'd get the higher tier.. no change, kwim?

I can imagine, though, going in, and flipping htem quickly, with multiple purchases...

Order 1 - one colgate get ECB immed.
order 2 - one colgate get ECB immed...

I foresee inventory problems...

Hmmm, I'm wondering - what would stop anyone from going in for something like milk (a non-ECB item), buying one toothpaste and getting the $2.99 ecb then going and buying the milk and walking out?

Seems to me that one of the main purposes of getting the ecbs later is that it gets the customer (us) into the store a 2nd time, and immediate printing doesn't do that. There's GOT to be some fine print in this somewhere!

One of the managers here (my least favorite) told me yesterday that they got 'new' instructions to only accept 1 CVS coupon per purchase. She doesn't usually know what she's talking about, but, maybe that's a change they'll make... ? That would get us going to the store for multiple visits...

Totally agree with you Kim!! It seems a bit odd that they'd want us not back in the store. However, on the other hand, how many customers really do the ECB deals like us? Those folks may actually be MORE inclined to go back in because they have a coupon now.
