I'll echo the frequent eaters and water drinkers...I have yo-yo'd a hundred times in the last 15 years or so...I've done every diet out there, from Weight Watchers to Atkins and everything in between. Finally (I'm a little slow sometimes) I realized I was going to have to change my actual eating habits, like my when, why, how, where and what I eat....so I went to a nutritionist - an actual doctor, with an actual medical degree who isn't selling books or diet plans or who hasn't been on any TV shows or magazine covers. They gave me the simplest, easiest, most brilliant weight loss plan I've ever heard:
Eat 1200 calories a day. Exercise 45-60 minutes on most days. Drink at least 8 oz glasses of water every day. Get a good night's sleep.
Of course, the calories should be nutrient-rich foods such as whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and natural unsaturated fats (like olive oil).
I've lost over 30lbs since December, and I'm still losing...best of luck with whatever path you choose.
