I am in so much pain, and I have no idea why! The past couple days have been rough. I was having some pretty strong contractions for about an hour the other night, so I stayed home and rested. I seemed to feel a bit better, aside from the shooting pains in my cervix and some pressure.I am pretty sure baby is head down. I was fine when I went to bed at like 11 last night. I did get a burst of energy and did some laundry.
I literally have alone been asleep for about 3 hours. I am having some incredible cramping (similar to menstrual cramps) and pressure down very low... like in my groin area. They don't feel like contractions, as it is a constant cramping and doesn't come and go. In addition I have the worst body aches of my life, like I have the world's worst case of the flu but nothing else is wrong (i'm not sick). I tried googling it but I don't get a whole lot of answers. I also am having some real strong back pain. I just took two tylenol, so we will see if it helps. Anyone have any other suggestions? I have had a slight increase in discharge, but nothing noteworthy. I have a doc appt. on Tuesday, my doc's office is closed on Fridays. If I feel like I am in labor, I will go to the ER obviously. But I wanted advice on what others thought it might be. Is baby dropping and is just in a bad position or what?
I apologize if this is run together or doesn't make sense. I am reeeeally tired.
I am worried I won't make it to October!!

I wish I had some answers for you. If you're worried call the doctors office. I'm sure they have an emergency line you can call.

Well I ended up coming down with the flu, I have lost my voice as of today, and either the virus has moved to my eyes or I have pink eye!!! . But I was having painful contractions every 10 minutes or so, I ended up going to the doc. I really thought I was in labor, I was having the worse pain ever. So he hooked me up to the monitors and saw I was having cx, sent me to L & D. They gave me a shot of terbutaline. it was horrible, I hate that stuff. I felt like I took too much albuterol or something! Anyway so I was there for probably 6 hours then I was discharged. They said that my uterus was really irritable, and was starting to go into preterm labor. They also said that I was dehydrated, which doesnt make any sense to me since my pee was practically clear! but I did rest and all that.
I still have the pain but not as bad. I am pushing fluids and resting, my poor boyfriend is having to do all the big stuff for me because the hospital said I was going into preterm labor. But I was just told to rest. Now I just am trying to get everything done, with the feeling that baby will come early.
I am 34 weeks tomorrow... I just need to make it 3 more weeks and I can breathe a little easier.

I had that stuff a few times my last pregnancy...Its not fun stuff but it works. I'm glad you're taking it easy and I'm sure if you just keep listening to your body and taking it easy you will make it 3 more weeks. I am so excited for you to have your baby! They said all the same things about me with Kianna and we made it past 37 weeks with a few of visits to L&D before that.
