Talking 18 week sonogram results

I am now just a little over 18 weeks pregnant and my belly is showing it. We went for a sonogram today. The technician got a pretty good look at both babies. She thinks Baby A is a Boy because she saw a circle and a bump. She thought Baby B is a Girl because she was able to see 3 distinct dots which I guess are the folds. We really hope she is right!! That would be so wonderful. She said she was 90% sure, but told us not to run out and buy blue and pink just yet.

The Dr. said that both babies looked perfect. There is only 1 gram difference in weight which I guess is very rare since with a lot of twins one baby gets bigger than the other. The Dr. was very glad to see they are very close in size and weight. Baby A's heartbeat was 138 and Baby A's heartbeat was 146 (I might have those backwards).

The Dr. said since everything looked so good they are not going to have another sonogram for 6-8 weeks. At that time they can do the 3D sonogram and we should know the genders for sure.
Now my Dh and I just have to fight over names We are thinking about John Patrick (Jack) for the boy and Sydney Jane for the girl.
