My family is palnning a trip to Ireland next year. We've never been there before and want to chase up our ancestors in Fermanagh (Nth. Ireland ) and Clare (Republic of Ireland). Any tips for the best way to find BMD records? Is it best to search out the individual parishes concerned, or go to a central govrnment body?
