I have really irregular cycles - anywhere from 35 days to 49 days - so I can't use any of the due-date calculators. My last period was 11 June, and I know for certain that I conceived between 7th July and 14th July on our honeymoon.
I had a blood test done on 29th July and HCG levels said I was approx 2 weeks pregnant (foetal age). So going by that, I probably conceived on 14th July and the foetus is now 3 weeks and 3 days old - even though my cycles are weird, do I tack on another 2 weeks to take into account the 1st day of my last period and the week of conception = 5 weeks pregnant? Will I be due around 5th April 2008?
When people say they are 6 weeks pregnant or however pregnant they are - are they referring to the age of the foetus or are they adding on the extra two weeks?
i'd say you were 5wks too, im 9wks tomoz but foetus age is 7wks so yes you got it!!!
