Thanks for all your comments! I am kinda partial to the children as well!
We are all home from the hospital, got discharged at 8 am and Jeff took us home before going to pick up the children from the various grandmother's houses.
They were so excited to meet their new babies, well most of them anyways.
Gabriel my three year old isn't so convinced, which surprises me because he was the most laid back of the bunch when it came to adding knew sibblings. Now he just stands in the corner, won't touch them, won't really look at them. And so far today he has wet his pants three times. I am just going to be patient with him, let him go at his own pace. As long as he don't show any aggression then I think he will learn to love them.
Judah (the one I was worried about) loves them! All he wants to do is lay down beside them and kiss them and touch them. His fingers aren't too gentle, but I am so happy that he has taken to them so well.
Nava has become a budding mother hen, this is the first babies that she has decided they were her own, especially Avigail. There is only one thing, she told me that she was going to call Avigail, Mary no matter what her new cousins name was. I told her that was fine, but if ever Avigail says she doesn't want to be called Mary then Nava would have to stop. Nava has claimed Avigail as her own, and I am okay with that, it means that the older child is going to take an interest in the youngest child and that is awesome in my opinion
Me? I love them, seriously could just squeeze them.... but then I am like that with all of my children! They sleep, alot! I wake them up to feed at the same time and while I feed one, my DH changes the other one so that they are on the same schedule. I am hoping that this will work out well. I remember when Judah was born he had his nights and days mixed up for 8 weeks and I barely slept at all! As long as they don't do that, I am okay with anything else they throw at me!
