Unhappy Guess were Ive been...

I guess u remember I went into labor on my birthday and they stopped contractions with the terbutaline and sent me home, well needless to say two days later i wound up back in the hospital ( On the 12th) and Ive been there ever since. I just got to come home today!! It was horrible. My doctor was out of town and the doctor on call wasnt familiar with my history. So he tried the terbutaline and it didnt work so then he tried Iv Fluids and pain meds ( all the while Im telling them my doctor has already tried these things and they dont work!!!) and when that failed he informed me I could either have a c-section right then or they were gonna put my on magnesium sulfate!! At this point I was in shock and terrified cause they werent waiting for a decision from me obviously because the next thing I know I was signing consent forms for c-section and getting prepped ( they even shaved me!!) So yes I was scared to death becaused I was still only 34 weeks and 5 days. So finally I demanded to speak with the doctor and told him I was not consenting to a c-section so finally they gave me the magnesium. I was put on that for 3 days and let me telll u that is some ruff stuff!!!!!!!! It makes u feel like u have the flu xs 10!!! It felt like someone dropped a brick wall on me,. it makes u so weak u cant even move!!! I thought I was dying!!!!!!! Fortunatley it worked and when my doctor came back she was furuious with the other doc. She finally came to my rescue and took me off the mag, and just kept me for the rest of the weekend and all of this past week just to get recovered from the magnesium and to make sure I made it to 36 weeks!!!!!!!

So THANKFULLY here we are back home and safely at 36 weeks!!! 2 more to go until scheduled C-section at 38 weeks!!!!

WOW what another ordeal you've been through... Glad that Zoey has stayed put and hopefully will do so for the next 2 wks....You'll be holding your baby girl before you know it and all of this stuff will be behind you...and well worth it in the long run!!!

hopefully your little girl stays baking for two more weeks so that way she can grow a little bit more. Do they have a plan on what to do if labor comes again??

If I go into labor anytime after today they will just let it be and ill deliver. My doctor says anytime after 36 weeks and little Zoey will do fine. So the 36 week mark was our major milestone.
