Woo Hooo! It's Friday!

Been a very, very long work week for me.
Some tough issues.
I had a friend at work, that I have known for 24 years,
suddenly pass-on. What a shock! But I know she is in Heaven.

DS#1 is coming home for the weekend. I have really missed him this summer.
I know he was home for less than 24* 4th of July, but I was busy on the phone w/ on-call, so didn't see him very much, except for meals.

DS#2 has a carwash at church to raise money for his Mission/Convention church trip in a couple of weeks.

DH is having to be at work daily now 7 days a week because the state of IL has not determined a working budget yet.....was supposed to be completed May, 07. Government Red Tape!

Gotta run to work!

So sorry to hear about your loss....
On saturday we're having friends over for a brunch and it's suppose to be nice out so the kids will be able to play outside. And on sunday i might treat myself to some shopping all alone...now that would be awesome!!

yea! Friday! Long week here as well!

Tonight, After DS goes to bed, DH and I are going to sit by a fire (outside) and have a couple of rum drinks and be happy to have each other.

Tomorrow, we are going to look at a house! Fingers crossed that we LOVE it! And then we are going to have my family over for a BBQ/Swim fest to enjoy some of the summer weather before it passes us by...

Sunday, Probably going to my SIL's build her baby's room. (1.5 hour drive there, work all day, 1.5 hour drive back, then try to get the baby to sleep thru the night after his naps in the car - no fun!)

My weekends have been packed since at least April, but this weekend seems to be lighter.

Friday night - clean house
Saturday - reunion planning meeting, friend's birthday party and go to another friend's bar for my bi-weekly visit
Sunday - check out new church

Saturday- my FIL is coming to visit. He lives in FL.
Sunday- don't really know. I'm trying to decide whether or not to take Tyler to church yet.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
Right now I’m about to fix lunch then we are going to the Zoo and Later today I have to take Trini to her baseball game. Then go to the store then cook then put the girls to bed
Saturday Grace and I are going to the Vietnamese church were they have a mommy and me class. Heaven and Trini attend the Ice-cream social they hold for the older kids. Then I have to take Heavenly to the doctors to get a check up. Then I have to go home cook. Then drive to the airport to pick up family then back home. Then I have to put the girls to bed.
Sunday Is Grace’s birthday so we are having a HUGE party for her. After the cake we are going to the beach then it’s back home to open gifts play games.
I will try to get some photos up today when I get back from the store and Sunday after I put the girls to bed.

Angie, I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your friend. It must be a very difficult loss for you. If you need to talk about it, please know that I am a good listener.

I work all weekend. Yay. And still no car-in the shop. So I get to walk! But I am making money so who's complaining? Not me...

Sat. is a 10 hour day, so after work on Sun. I think I'll see if my buddy will come out and take me and dd to the Zoo or something. She needs to get out and so do I.

So sorry about your loss. That must have been quite a shock.

My dh is working for a friend on Saturday. I may have a yard sale on Sunday to get rid of some of Conner's little baby things But I don't really have any specific plans.
