It's Time To Show Our Support In A Way That Makes Others Notice
For those who have had the displeasure of reading William Arkin's blog in The Washington Post this week you are aware that our troops have been called mercenaries among others insults that go beyond the point of just protest, in my opinion it's slander.
I have written a blog on the topic with just a few quotes if you are so inclined follow the link in my sig line. Regardless of reading my blog I am asking, no I am begging each and everyone of you to make our point clear to The Washington and boycott their advertisers. Contact the advertisers and tell them why you are boycotting them as well.
None of us like it when our troops are bashed and yet we have all be told not to get into any kind of confrontation with anyone who disagrees. I am not looking for confrontation but I am sick and tired of hearing how the people that bash our troops have every right to do so while the men and women who protect their rights are treated as less than a "real" American. Nothing will change until we make changes ourselves and hitting The Washington Post at their bottom line seems to be the place to start.
As military families we are a very large part of the economy and it's time we show them just how much strength we have as a whole. Supporting our troops mean making choices about where we do business and it's time that we stand together to make our distaste for this trash clear. I am trying to get a list of advertisers for The Post but I am having difficulty finding The Post here in Michigan, if anyone can assist me with this, I would be forever grateful.
