He finally arrived on Oct 29 @ 2:30 AM. 18 days late.
I was not prepared at all for how quick it all happened! Labor start to finish was 4 hours. At 10:30 i had a slight "hmm, maybe that was a contraction" but tbh, it felt more like an itty bitty cramp. At 11:15, i could tell they were contractions, and finished putting away laundry. DH took Izzy to a friend's house while i took a bath. He put me in the car as soon as he got back, despite my "no, we still have several hours." We got to the hospital at around 1-1:30 and i was an 8!
at 2:20 they gave me a shot, (which i was soooo thankful for. i said the whole time "i just want to relax for 2 minutes before i push this kid out!") I was a 9, but my water still hadn't broken. The doctor broke my water, and Jack arrived @ 2:30! 8 lbs 12.6 oz and 20 3/4 inches.
